Standard Fees

Fees for individual therapeutic services are $235.00 per 50 minute session, which reflect the Psychological Association of Alberta’s Recommended Fee Schedule.

Fees are payable through e-transfer and credit card. You will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance or benefit provider for reimbursement.

At Sandham Psychological Services, we offer direct billing to the following insurance providers: Canada Life, Desjardins Insurance, Manulife Financial, Alberta Blue Cross, GreenShield, Medavie Blue Cross, Co-operators, ASEBP, Equitable Life, People Corporation, NHIB, First Canadian Insurance Corporation Group, Johnston Group, and Sun Life.

If your insurance company is not listed, please let us know, we’re happy to look into adding it to our list of supported insurers.

Addition Fees

Additional billable services will be charged $47.00 per 10-minutes. Such services include report writing and other requested correspondence, client-requested consulting with other professionals, preparing files for release to the client or a third party, extended phone calls or email responses, file/session summary writing, and review of written records from other professionals.

Supporting Documentation Policy

At Sandham Psychological Services, psychologist can provide letters in support of client’s when deemed appropriate and ethical. Specifically, the psychologist must have a current therapeutic relationship with the client, the client must have been seen for at least 6 sessions, and the psychologist must be familiar with the client’s situation and how it has impacted their current functioning.

Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

At Sandham Psychological Services we ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you provide us with 48 hours notice. In the event you provide less then 48 hours notice, a late cancelation fee of $235.00 will be charged. In addition, in the event of a missed appointment, the missed appointment fee of $235.00 will be charged.
